This year Zearing is “Still Horsin’ Around!”

Annual celebration to take place the weekend of July 20-22.

          ZEARING, IA — June 18, 2001 — This year’s Zearing Days community celebration, themed “Still Horsin’ Around,” will take place the weekend of July 20 – 22 in Zearing.
          The three-day celebration will feature a wide-array of events and activities for the whole family, including a Kids Dance, Toilet Bowl Races, Firemen’s Water Fights, Sand Volleyball Tournament, Pedal Tractor Pull, Lip Sync and Karaoke Contests, Petting Zoo, a street dance featuring local band Sneaky Peat, plenty of food, and so much more!
          The Zearing Days Parade will take place at 11:00 am on Main Street, Saturday, July 21, and will honor Zearing legend Dick Sparrow, father of the 40 Horse Hitch, as our Grand Marshall.
